Watershed back at Garden Route Casino

By VersatileLyle

As everyone is getting ready to celebrate the new year, those in and around the Garden Route are in for a treat as the festivities continue.

Garden Route Casino’s Bravo Lounge will be playing host to South Africa’s leading acoustic rock group, Watershed. Fans of the gold and platinum award-winning band are in for a night of melodic notes and rhythms.

Watershed, made up of the talented Craig Hinds (vocals, piano, acoustic guitar, harmonica), Gideon Botes (lead guitar, acoustic and mandolin), Howie Combrink (drums) and Paul McIver (guitars & vocals), are famous for tunes such as Indigo Girl, 5th Avenue and My Love is Gone.

When Indigo Girl spiralled up South Africa’s charts back in 2000, it was hard to predict just how successful this group would be. The band have worked their way up to become one of South Africa’s leading acoustic rock groups, with their distinctive blend of harmonious and sultry tones.

Garden Route Casino Marketing Manager, Karen Johnstone, says:

“Watershed really pulled off a magnificent show the last time they performed at the Casino, so we have no doubt that people will be just as entertained this time around.”

Tickets to see the band in action cost R180 per person, with discounts available to Garden Route Casino Rewards members. Tickets can be purchased on gardenroutecasino.co.za, from casino cashiers, Computicket as well as from selected Shoprite Checkers stores. Regret no under 18s.
